The Onyango Family played an important role in helping to organize and promote the
event. Atiembo Onyango is a member of the famed Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He is seen below
in his purple Fraternity sweatshirt striking a pose. The only other fraternity that even
holds a candle close to them might be Alpha Phi Alpha but that is debatable. The Fashion
Show was a big success. It was enjoyed by entire families like the Schrader's who came
from 195th Place and were re-united from as far away as

Douglaston. The Schrader's were there last year but brought with them their proud new
addition to the family. Also, Mark Elf, a world
class jazz guitarist, provided superior entertainment as well. Mark has had several jazz
recordings that made it to number one on the jazz charts across the country. "I can't
wait until next year!" was said over and over again by many participants.
"Besides the smiles, we can move mountains together and drink clean water."
